I’m not easily shocked…
But I’ve never seen a U.S. President suck up to a dictator as Trump did with Putin.
I’ve never seen a U.S. President portray our country as a hapless victim on the world stage.
Frankly, I’ve never seen a U.S. President attack the building blocks of democracy as Donald Trump has done. He is fulfilling Vladimir Putin’s plan to weaken America, by dividing us from our allies and by turning Americans against one another. To Putin, Trump is a gift that keeps on giving.
So I say this to you without hesitation: Donald Trump is the most undemocratic President in modern history.
Electing a Democratic Congress to put him in check has become a matter of national urgency.
